START
Our first race as we come back from winter break! We’ve visited Detroit for this erg race for the last few years and always come away with lots of medals.
The States Cup is our annual duel with Ohio State, and this year we are hosting! This race is always a ton of fun and we will be defending the points trophy we’ve held for the last few years.
The Lubber Cup is a regional regatta and will be the our first taste at our spring competition. The MSU Crew Club has always showed out at this regatta and this year will be no different!
We are still in the process of deciding between traveling to ICRI hosted by Illinois, or SIRA in Oak Ridge. Both are regional championships and will give us an opportunity to race against the fastest teams; as well as what to expect at ACRA.
Our fastest regatta behind ACRA Nationals, which will pivot us into our last stretch of training after the spring semester ends. Last year we ended with multiple medals, including our novice men’s 8+ taking second, which they followed up on at ACRA. This regatta gives us a look at how we’ll place at ACRA and we are so excited to see our hard work come together.
ACRA Nationals is our final and biggest event of the year; and the culmination of our entire year of training. Last year we jumped to 6th in the nation, so this year we are looking for an even more ambitious placement. Our great early results in the fall have secured, and given us motivation to bring home even more medals than last year. See you there!
